Design notes
How this property was lit.
Commercial work runs on a schedule, not on convenience. A restaurant cannot close its patio in December to have lights hung, so the install was staged around opening hours and completed in a single day.
The porch columns are wrapped rather than outlined — on a building with exposed timber and corrugated metal, wrapped columns read as deliberate and warm instead of pinned on.
Red was used on the roofline to tie the display to the building's own signage and awning, with warm white on the columns and patio so the seating area stays usable after dark.
