Stone Estate and Long Driveway

On a property this deep, the house is barely visible from the road. The design therefore starts at the street and works inward: tree trunks wrapped at the drive, a lit edge following the curve of the driveway, then the roofline of the residence itself.

Wrapping the trunks rather than the canopies is what makes this property work at night. The canopy disappears into the dark sky; the trunks carry the eye up and hold the composition together.

Every run is cut to the property, so the driveway edge keeps even spacing around a long curve — the place where draped retail strands always give themselves away.
