For communities

Downtown, lit for the people who live there.

Public holiday lighting is a civic project. It has to be scoped precisely, scheduled around events and access requirements, installed with the right equipment, and serviced all season by a contractor who answers the phone. We scope municipal work directly with the department responsible for it.

Included in every programme

Nothing is an add-on after the quote.

The installation, the product, the service calls, the removal and the storage are one system. The only thing that changes is the size of the property.

  • Department-level scoping

We work with the responsible department or district to define exactly what is lit, where, and on what schedule.

  • Downtown and district work

Street trees, storefront frontage, plaza lighting and lamp-post treatments across a defined district.

  • Civic buildings

City halls, courthouses, libraries, community centres and public facilities, lit to their architecture.

  • Parks and public spaces

Park entries, pavilions, bandstands, public trees and event spaces, installed with public access in mind.

  • Access and safety planning

Equipment, road closures and pedestrian routing planned in advance and agreed with your team.

  • Season-long service

Free in-season maintenance and a 24-hour response so a public display is never left dark through the holidays.

The detail matters

The part most installers skip is the part people notice.

The product is simple. The execution is not. Here is exactly how we think about this type of property.

01

Public lighting is a logistics problem first

The design is the straightforward part. The complexity in municipal work is access: which streets can be closed and when, where equipment can be staged, which trees are on which maintenance cycle, which events the display must be ready for. We plan all of it before installation day and put it in writing.

  • Equipment staging and access agreed in advance
  • Install sequenced around public events
  • Pedestrian routes protected throughout
  • A single contact for the duration of the programme

What we light for a city

Civic and public buildings, downtown and district storefront frontage, street trees and public trees, town squares and plazas, parks and event spaces, community centres and libraries, and municipal facilities. Where a district has a defined boundary, we light consistently across it so the treatment reads as one programme rather than a series of separate installs.

03

Trees are the signature of a downtown display

Public trees do the heavy lifting in a downtown lighting programme. Trunk and primary-branch wrapping at a consistent rhythm down a street creates the depth and repetition that makes a district feel decorated, and it survives wind far better than anything draped. We wrap to the trunk and primary branches, which is what actually reads from the pavement and from a car.

04

Accountability through the season

A public display that goes dark in mid-December is visible to every resident in the city. In-season maintenance is included and free, response is within 24 hours, and removal and storage are already in the programme price. One contract, one invoice, one contact, start to finish.
