Design notes
How this property was lit.
A community entrance has one job: to tell every resident and every guest that they have arrived somewhere that is looked after. The lighting has to read at 30 miles an hour from a moving car.
The stone tower, the monument wall and the sign face were lit as three separate planes so the lettering stays legible and the stone keeps its texture.
The planting beds in front were lit with staked path lights at even spacing, which is what gives the approach its sense of order. Every fixture is cut to the property, so next season's reinstall matches this one exactly.
